Tyler Rand is a full‑time martial arts instructor whose passion for training and teaching shines through in everything he does. When he’s not leading classes, he’s either working out, sharpening his own martial arts skills, or unwinding with one of his favourite hobbies: video games. Whether he’s on the mats or behind a controller, Tyler brings the same focus, enthusiasm, and drive to improve.
For Tyler, teaching martial arts is more than a career, it’s a superpower. He loves the feeling of stepping onto the mats and helping students grow, describing it as feeling “like a superhero.” He thrives on meeting new people and building long‑lasting relationships with students and families, many of whom become lifelong friends.
Tyler’s love for martial arts runs deep. He’s drawn to the flashiness, the style, and the creativity of the art form. It’s fun, expressive, and – most importantly – it’s the first hobby he truly committed to. It’s where he discovered what dedication can build, and it’s where he found something he could excel at and stick with.
